During the Coronavirus pandemic, to keep our customers and staff safe and well, all visits to the shop are now by Appointment Only. Being appointment only ensures that we are able to control the number of shoppers in at any one time, social distancing measures are adhered to, and we can also provide a safe, comfortable and reassuring environment in which our customers can shop.

In-Store Shopping Visit

For the safety of our staff and customers alike, we ask that you take a moment to read through the following notes, prior to your visit:

  • Please ensure that you arrive promptly for your visit, so we are able to give each customer the best possible service; this will allow us time to clean and sanitise the shop, and manage handled goods after your visit
  • Please sanitise your hands as you enter the shop at the sanitisation station in the doorway
  • Whilst shopping in-store, please follow the national social distancing rule of 2m
  • Please make sure you wear a mask at all times - children under 11 are not required to wear one
  • It's essential that we control the numbers who are present at the appointments; only children who are purchasing dancewear and one adult should accompany them; adults and older teenagers, buying for themselves, should come on their own
  • Please bring your own socks or tights for you to try on footwear; alternatively, you can purchase these in-store
  • We will be providing fitting room facilities, which will be cleaned and sanitised after each use; all goods tried on but not purchased, will be quarantined for 24 hours

Pointe Shoe Fitting

We are happy to be back offering our specialist pointe shoe fittings! As for all other visits to our store, these will be strictly by appointment only.

For the safety of our staff and customers alike, we ask that you take a moment to read through the following notes, prior to your visit:

  • Please follow the guidelines on the Booking Appointment page, for general visits to our shop
  • For your safety, we have amended our pre-fit assessment to reduce personal contact wherever possible
  • Please make sure toenails are cut short and feet have been cleaned and sanitised prior to your visit
  • Due to the proximity of the fitter during the fitting, we ask that you wear a face mask at all times during your appointment
  • Please bring clean, pink convertible ballet tights or socks (these can be purchased in-store if you don't have any)
  • Please wear a leotard, shorts or a skirt so we can see your leg line and you can pliè easily
  • If this is your first fitting, please read the First Fittings section
  • If this is not your first fitting, please read the Second and Subsequent Fittings section

First Fittings:

  • Please ensure that your dance teacher has approved and confirmed that you are ready to go en pointe
  • Before the fitting, please make sure you have emailed us (info@westondancewear.com) the following details - name; age; dance school/teacher; shoe size; shoe width (narrow/average/wide); any preference to brand of pointe shoe you're wanting to try on

Second and Subsequent Fittings:

  • Please bring your last pair of pointe shoes, even if you have grown out of them
  • Please ensure that you bring any foot protection, such as toe pads etc, that you already have and wish to use in your new pointe shoes, and that they are clean and sanitised prior to your visit
  • Before the fitting, please make sure you have emailed us (info@westondancewear.com) the following details - name; age; dance school/teacher; shoe size; shoe width (narrow/average/wide); where your previous fitting was; any preference to brand of pointe shoe you're wanting to try on

Click & Collect

We are pleased to be offering our Click & Collect service once more!  Please simply place your order online, selecting the Local Pick Up option at the checkout. We will then contact you when your order is ready for collection. You will then need to book visit to pick it up.

Important Notes:

  • You will not be able to collect your order unless you have booked a collection slot
  • Please do not book your slot until we have confirmed that your order is ready for collection
  • Should you wish to personally return your Click & Collect order, you must also book a visit to do so

Returns

You may attend our shop to return Click & Collect orders, for a refund or exchange. This is strictly by appointment only.
